Our planned maintenance work is gradually recommencing as normal.
Following the COVID-19 lockdown period deferments, we must now continue with planned maintenance to ensure that we maintain a reliable electricity supply for you – before winter's colder temperatures and worsening weather conditions increase demands on our network.
In some but not all cases, completing work may require power to be turned off so that our field crews are kept safe while undertaking it. We appreciate that this could cause inconvenience to anyone still working from home, but this is required. Premises affected by these outages will be notified in advance.
We are committed to ensuring the safety of both members of the public and our field crews. They will be following best work practice guidelines under Level 2, and we would ask customers to respect safe distances if approaching our teams.
