More Information
If our electricity network is impacted, we'll do our best to get the power back on as quickly as we can. For the safety of our field crews, it might not be possible to start fixing a fault straight away in high winds, so please bear with us.
Make sure trampolines and other outdoor objects are secured for safety reasons, and to prevent them from damaging property and overhead electrical equipment.
Please also remember to:
Let your electricity retailer know if you experience a power cut and it's not shown on our outages page.
Phone our emergency line on 0800 248 148 if you spot anything you think might be an electrical hazard.
Treat all electrical equipment as live at all times.
Follow your emergency response plan if you're medically dependent, and contact your health practitioner if an outage puts you at risk of harm.
Call 111 if anyone's in danger or if there’s a fire or serious risk to property.
