Once we receive your request and confirm what's needed, it can take up to two weeks to provide a quote to you.*
The process to install a point of supply can take up to 6-8 weeks once payment is received.*

Before the final livening of your connection, you'll need to have signed up with an electricity retailer in advance.
If you're not sure who to choose, Powerswitch can help.
We'll need some technical info from you around the required supply type and size.
If you don't have this, please consult a qualified electrician first.
Vegetation may need to be cut back or removed to allow this work to proceed.
For more information on getting connected, please see our FAQs.
*With larger, more complex connection requests, timeframes may be longer than specified above.
⚠️ Status update: Due to the high volume of requests currently being received and delays associated with COVID-19, we might take longer than usual to install a point of supply.
Our current timeframe from receiving a request to carrying out the work is 14-16 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the job.
We still encourage you to submit your request to us so that one of our project managers can advise further. We're sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.
