Our planned maintenance work is continuing as normal under the COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic lights) with all protocols in place.
Following the COVID-19 framework update, we are continuing with planned maintenance to ensure that we maintain a reliable electricity supply for you. We will be adhering to the government’s advisement and cancellations may be at short notice as situations unfold in the community. We will notify retailers of these changes as soon as possible.
In some but not all cases, completing work may require power to be turned off so that our field crews are kept safe while undertaking it. We appreciate that this could cause inconvenience to anyone working from home, but this is required. Premises affected by these outages will be notified in advance.
We are committed to ensuring the safety of both members of the public and our field crews. They will be following best work practice guidelines under Orange level, and we would ask customers to respect safe distances if approaching our teams.
